STEVE BUSCEMI APPRECIATION POST.

This powerhouse of an actor has featured in some of my all-time favourite movies. From Armageddon, to Pulp Fiction, to Con Air, to Reservoir Dogs… not to mention his immense performance in HBO’s Boardwalk Empire series. But you can’t deny it, just seeing his face can send shivers down your spine & remind you of things that hide under the bed & in your closets. This post is not at all slander, it’s actually quite the opposite.  I love the fact that somebody who was graced with a handful of chill-inducing features has managed to create & sustain such a brilliant acting career.  Imagine Buscemi walking into an audition at the beginning of his career & earning the right to pick up a role, based on pure talent.  These days it’s all dependant on how perfectly quiffed your hair might be, the level of ‘dreaminess’ in your eyes & the size of your chesticles.  

So kudos to you, Steve Buscemi. Kudos to you, & I hope to see more of your chihuahua-like features in the future.
